The Shristinagar Premier League (SPL), a popular cricket tournament inspired by the Indian Premier League, concluded its third edition at Odyssey Club in Shristinagar, Asansol. The tournament featured nine teams, including Avengers, Warriors, Predators, Ninja, Rebels, Challengers, Mavricks, Panthers, and Titans. The matches were played in an 8-over format, with the finals being played as 10-over matches, adding to the competition’s excitement.

The Shristinagar Premier League saw Team Predators win the men’s final against Team Ninja, while Team Avengers won the women’s category against Team Challengers. The tournament’s closing ceremony was attended by former World Cup-winning Indian cricketers, Sandeep Patil and Madan Lal, who handed over the trophy, inspiring both players and spectators.

The Shristinagar Premier League 2025 showcased cricket as a powerful tool for community building and unity.
