Designer Gaurav Gupta’s  Astro collection presented by NEXA was showcased at the Lakme Fashion Week.

Gaurav Gupta was inspired by a magnificent festive confluence of cosmic energy and svelte NEXA shapes. When the meteoric impact was created through the stunning bursts of crystal embroidery in colors that matched the ethereal, heavenly color story and the amazing astronomical alignments, the designer’s couture collection inspiration drew in the mystery of the grand universe and galaxy.

The showstopper for the show was Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra.

Thousands of crystals were artistically sprayed all over and occasionally shone on bare skin to create magic on the models as they glid down the runway while wearing exquisitely created costumes that shimmered under the ramp lights.

At times, the deftly sculpted and molded gowns with their intricate wire manipulations defied imagination with their artistically crafted silhouettes that seemed to take off into the stratosphere of fashion.

The form and structure of Gaurav’s couture creations have always been astounding, and this season he created a magnificent fantasy with an otherworldly impression that had an almost orb-like vitality.

The audience was taken on a stylish, cosmic journey into Astro realms by Gaurav Gupta’s celestial collection, which was presented by NEXA and where no designer had previously ventured.
