Silver Point School’s Students Attend Amazing Anti-Addiction Campaign
The current situation of a big increase in children using cell phones raises serious concerns about the potential harm that the internet’s dark side could do to a developing brain. The readily accessible forms of drunkenness and smoking that are occurring directly in their homes are normalizing these vices for youngsters. Averting future harm is urgent, and raising awareness as soon as possible is vital.
This is where actor, activist, and method acting teacher Bobby Chakraborty‘s widely recognized, free preventive awareness program, I AM THE KING MY MIND, which fights juvenile addiction and negative social trends, comes into its own and helps steer kids in the direction of a healthy body and mind.
Bobby and Silver Point School, Kolkata, worked together for his 422nd Anti Addiction Campaign. This was Bobby’s third session at the school. Bobby had everything expertly handled by the socially conscious Principal Sucharita Roychowdhury and her effective team, led by senior teacher Ratna Chanda Roy.
Students in the 7th and 9th grades made up the enthusiastic audience for this thought-provoking event, and we believe they were the ideal recipients of Bobby’s valuable life lessons. The official photographer of the event was Anushka Maitra and Soldier Sk. Younus Mohammad worked together to capture this inspiring session. The most significant titles were “The Trendsetter” for soldier Younus and “The First Soldier” for Shubham. Soldiers Purba, Payel, and Mayank emerged victorious in the competition, and Bobby presented them and Anushka with community service certificates, personalized HCF (Health-Career-Family) t-shirts, and unique awards.
Bobby’s endearing, poignant, and humorous approach captivated the hearts of his young soldiers. To cap off this thought-provoking and unforgettable session, everyone in the audience yelled the soldier’s motto, “I am the king of my mind” three times as loud as they could.
