Actress Simita Kundu who started her career by working on the Bengali stage had also worked in different Bengali serials and films as protagonists. She shifted her base to Mumbai and began working for channels like Zee, Star Jalsha, Sony, Life OK, Colors and others. She acted in advertisements for national brands as a face from Kolkata. Then she shifted to Mumbai to work in national projects after completing her 2 Bengali films few years back.

In this journey a Bengali director Pritam Sarkar who has released his film Flop e successfully and directed many corporate films and ad films with top brands is also making his debut nationally. Being a concept writer he has always searched for something new and this time his first project as a concept writer and director is going to be a national project in Hindi.

The film is titled Khusfehmiya and the duo has begun the pre-production work with a bang.

This duo are professionally comfortable with each other as they have worked together for ads, telefilms and corporate in Bengal together. So they selected their first project to be a short film which is a story of a journey to a destination by finding out the depth of the nature of human relationship.
