Slum Soccer Organized By The Yellow Turtle And Slum Soccer To Mentor Underprivileged Children
In the presence of Mr. Aparup Chakraborty, Head of Slum Soccer, East India, and Ms. Apeksha Lahiri, Proprietor, The Yellow Turtle, Slum Soccer and The Yellow Turtle organized a friendly football game to encourage and mentor underprivileged children.
Slum Soccer has been organized for the third consecutive year. An organization called Slum Soccer works to improve the lives of people who live on the streets. Football is used as a tool to help the less fortunate confront and overcome the challenges brought on by their homelessness.
“We are extremely grateful to be a part of this event. We engage in a variety of CSR activities on behalf of The Yellow Turtle. One of them is this. I want to regularly take an active part in this kind of activity” said Apeksha Lahiri.
The Yellow Turtle lost to Slum Soccer 4-2 on penalties in the matchup between the two teams. The winning team received a trophy and a medal.
