Socio-Mytho Serial Shyama- High On VFX And Graphics Work

An attractive young man named Joy Banerjee (Honey) comes from a wealthy and prosperous family. The patriarch of the Banerjee family is Bakul Banerjee (Biswajit Chakraborty), a renowned astrologer and Joy’s grandfather. Aritri (Tumpa), a fair and lovely young lady, is the Satipith Temple’s chief priest’s daughter. At first sight, Joy is smitten with Aritri. They consider their ideal kundali match before getting married with the approval of their families. Dark secrets will come to light, putting lives in danger. Will they find happiness together? Will their union have trouble? Will Aritri, a straightforward girl, be taken in by a conspiracy because she is unaware of it, or will she grow into a powerful person who leaves her mark?

The press conference of the serial took place recently in the presence of Biswajit Chakraborty, Honey Bafna, Tumpa Ghosh, Madhubani, Sudipta Banerjee, Sayak, Bharat Kaul, and others.

This is a socio-mytho work. The serial has a lot of graphics and VFX work. The team at Surinder Films has been working hard to ensure that these are up to the standards.

Madhubani who plays the role of Maa Tara said “This is the first day of my shoot. When I got the offer to do this role, I was concerned. But the makers told me that I would not need to devote much time. It will be a few day’s work. This is good as I will feel good and I will not deprive my young baby of a mother’s care. This is a win-win combo for me”.

Bharat Kaul said that he has never worked in a serial with such a unique story in his 30 years of career.

Biswajit Chakraborty said “Black magic with socio-mytho elements are some of the highlights of this serial. I do not think such topics have been dealt with in any serial before. Whenever I come to the set and read the script, I am amazed that I play such a bad guy. However, that is the charm of acting. You get to act in characters that are completely different from your original self”.

Sudipta Banerjee will be seen in the role of Menoka, an actress in this serial. “Audiences have seen me play the role of villains in most serials. I am the one who usually goes against the heroine. However this time I have a different role. Menoka is a dignified, educated woman” said the actress.

Sudipta also added that this was his third project with Honey.

“I play the role of Joy Banerjee. He is a very dominating person and people think twice before mixing with him. He only listens to his grandfather Bakul Banerjee. They have many businesses but their astrology business is immensely popular among people from different professions. My character is different from the ones that I have played to date” said Honey.

Tumpa who plays Aritri did not want to reveal much about the character. However, she was looking forward to the audience’s feedback once the serial began airing.
