Prosenjit Chatterjee, Soham Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Arindam Ganguly, Jeet Ganguli, Rajdeep Ghosh, Oishika Guhathakurta, and others graced the trailer launch event of Kolkatar Harry.

Smt. Sashi Panja (Hon’ble Minister In Charge, Govt. Of West Bengal) was present at the inauguration. Sri Debasish Sen (M.D HIDCO) was the Chief Guest of the event.

Directed by Rajdeep Ghosh, the production house of the film is Soham’s Entertainment and presented by Soham Chakraborty & Indira Chowdhury.

The story of the film is about a carpool driver Harinath Patra (Soham) who has the quality of telling stories. He is a fan of fairytales and often shows magic on the streets of the city. Titli (Aishika) is a young girl aged ten years old and she goes to school using Harinath’s carpool service. Titli’s mother is overprotective about her. Titli has an elder sister Mohor (Priyanka). Mohor is 14 years older than her. She works in a corporate education institute. Titli and Harinath share a rare type of friendship. Mohor meets Harinath while inspecting her sister’s interest in wizardry. They are different from one another and yet they fall in love with each other. Harinath loses the job. Mohor suggests he open up a Story Cafe in Kolkata. What happens next?

The cast of the film consists of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Soham Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Oishika Guhatakurata, Laboni Sarkar, Arindam Ganguly, Raj Chakraborty, Sudipa Basu, and Basanti Chatterjee.

Prosenjit Chatterjee said “The fact that Soham has ventured into producing films shows the fact that he loves cinema so much. Actors like Dev, Jeet who have become producers shows that they love cinema and want to do their bit for the industry. I am glad to be a small part of this amazing film”.

Arindam Ganguly said “I loved doing the film because this is a children’s film. Two things are very difficult to do- a comedy film and a children’s film. The fact that Bittu (Soham) took the step to make a children’s film is worth applauding. Since the film is releasing during the summer vacation, children can come and enjoy this film”.

Priyanka Sarkar who plays Mohor said that the film will take back to childhood days and will remind many of fantasy tales.

Soham said that not only the kids but also the adults will be transported back to the fantasy world.

Jeet Gannguli who had watched many children’s films said “This is the first time that I got the chance to compose music for a children’s film. I am so happy that I got this chance”.

The music of the film has been composed by Jeet Ganguli.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Rohit- Soumya.

The film is eyeing release on 6^th May.
