In collaboration with FDCI, the ITHR brand brought back maximalism during Lakmé Fashion Week. The “Dancing Queen” collection from the brand was designed with the glamazons and free-spirited fashionistas who long to be at the top of the style charts in mind. It was inspired by the foot-tapping pulse of disco music.

The silhouettes, which were embellished with Swarovski and crystal details, spelled out wealth to a very high degree.

Layers produced that feminine frothy effect, while sheers played a chic game with pastel overtones. On sparkling outfits, gold and silver gleamed brilliantly and added to the disco-inspired charm.

Little halter bralettes were paired with slinky, glittering skirts, and a variety of late-night evening clothing was available to excite partygoers.

The stunning Sonakshi Sinha made a glittering, head-turning entrance while gliding in a shimmering, gold, long fishtail skirt that she paired with a matching bralette and an asymmetric floor-length shrug. Celebrities like Anaita Shroff Adajania, Anshula Kapoor, and Antara Motiwala Marwah also walked the ramp  For the “Dancing Queen” collection by ITHR, there was a noticeable enthusiasm for breaking all fashion boundaries and rewriting them to an altered fashion beat.

Designers Mohit and Ridhi had the honor of working with the original disco king Bappi Lahiri on their campaign and their first disco collection, which was a tribute to him. This tradition continues with Dancing Queen.
