Pori and Sumantra’s romantic journey is eloquently depicted in the song. It shows Pori’s excitement and longing as she waits for her husband to return home, capturing the sensitive moments as she gets ready for him. We witness her love and dedication as the story progresses, which culminates in the touching scene when he eventually shows up.

Shreya Ghoshal said, “It’s such a beautiful song, and I adore the composition. It combines several genres, which makes it quite captivating. The song, which is about a girl waiting for her beloved, is exquisitely rendered. I think whatever he writes, lyrics or music included, comes straight from the heart, and it shows in the song. This song, like the others I’ve sung for him, has grown to be one of my favorites”.

Anupam Roy revealed an intriguing detail regarding the song, and said, “I have been trying to get this track recorded with Shreya for the last six months. I felt this song was intended to be in her voice as soon as I began writing it. Glad we were able to accomplish it at last!”.
