Director Soukarya Ghosal after dealing with time travel and fantasy drama in his first two films will now be handling an altogether different genre in his third film which is an emotional thriller. Koel Mallick who has been experimenting with her roles in recent times will be seen in this film in a pivotal role.

The film is titled Rokto Rohosyo. Koel plays Swarnaja in the film. She is a RJ by profession. She wants to help people despite suffering setbacks in her life.

Apart from Koel, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Lily Chakraborty, Shantilal Mukherjee, Basabdatta Chatterjee and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

When Soukarya was writing the character of Swarnaja, Koel’s name came to his mind. He found all the traits of Swarnaja’s character in Koel.

Koel after watching Rainbow Jelly had decided to work with Soukarya. She had liked the film so much that she even wanted to produce it under the banner of Surinder Films.

The shooting of the film has already started.
