Soumen Chatterjee’s Shree de L’art Announces Launch Of Music Videos And Short Films
Soumen Chatterjee is a social worker who works with 65 mentally depressed people of Salt Lake Prabartak Sangha Home but also with 120 orphans of Sundarbans. Due to his social works, he won the prestigious India Glorious Achievement Award 2021.
During the pandemic, artists had a hard time. So he took the first steps in the film industry under the advice of director Ashok Vishwanathan. As a result of this, he began Shree de L’art.
A press meet was organized to announce the release of short films, music videos under Shree de L’art and was graced by Soumen Chatterjee, Rana Banerjee, Sayantani Guhathakurta, Ashok Vishwanathan, Rwitobrata Mukherjee, and others.
“Despite suffering from cancer, the amount of zeal that he has is worth admiring. I applaud Soumen Chatterjee for his enthusiasm and zeal towards the film industry” said Ashok Vishwanathan.
Soumya Chakraborty’s Pendulum’s trailer was launched at the press meet. Sayantani Guhathakurta, Sayantani Nandi and others have acted in Pendulum.
Arudipto Dasgupta’s musical short film Abdar shows the different desires of different ages of life. It features Rwitobrata Mukherjee and Debangi.
Mandip Saha directed the film Mon Re Fire Ay features Debtanu and Aishwarya in eminent roles.
Sudip Mridha directed music videos Basanta Batase and De De Pal Tule De was also released.
Soumen Chatterjee has immense love for theatre. With the help of director Rana Banerjee, he finished the shoot in Minerva Theatre for the International Theatre Carnival with eight drama groups from Kolkata and the suburbs.
We hope that Soumen Chatterjee continues to motivate and inspire the artists in the coming times.
