Celebrated international cricketer & President, Board of Control for Cricket in India Sourav Ganguly was present at the celebration of the 25th Year of Pratishta Divas of Sree Guruvayurappan Temple (Narayan Mandir) at the mandir premises recently.

Sree Guruvayurappan Temple (Narayan Mandir), Calcutta was built in the year 1995. The Pratishta of Deities was performed at the auspicious Brahmin Muhurtham on 31^st January 1995 (Thiruvopam star, 17^th Makaram 1770) in the early hours by Thantries of Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Kerala, namely (Late) Chennas Divakaran Namboodiripad along with his son Thantri Acharya Ratna Dr. P C Dinesan Namboodirtpad, who is the present Thantri of the temple.
