Sudipta Chanda on behalf of The Dreamers organized the grand celebration of the popular children’s magazine Sandesh‘s 110 years.

To mark the 110 years of Sandesh, a special calendar was released titled Sandesh 110.

Sandip Ray (Editor, Sandesh), Amitananda Das (Publisher, Sandesh), Devajit Bandyopadhyay (Archivist), Debasis Mukhopadhyay (Satyajit Ray specialist and collector), Sudipta Chanda, Vikash Kumar Singh (Director, Genius Kids)and others graced the launch of the calendar Sandesh 110.

The calendar boasts of magazine covers designed by the four generations of the Ray family namely Upendra Kishore, Sukumar, Satyajit, and Sandip himself.

Speaking at the event, Sandip Ray said “We are thinking of bringing out a digital version of Sandesh. Times have changed and bringing out a digital version will come in handy for young readers. The launch of this calendar is a great initiative of Sudipta and I am glad that he took time out to plan such a great event”.

The conceptualization and initiative to bring out this special calendar is the brainchild of Sudipta Chanda (The Dreamers). The Dreamers also completed ten years of its journey this year.

Sandesh 110 is a great calendar worth treasuring.
