Shrutinandan completed its glorious 25 years. To mark this grand occasion, a day-long program filled with riveting musical performances was presented by the students of the institute.

Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal respected CV Ananda Bose released a special cover of Shrutinandan by the Indian Post and showered the pupils with his blessings.

The founder – members, Padmashree, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Chandana Chakraborty, renowned vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty and other governing body members were present to celebrate the occasion.

Mr. Daman Sood, a renowned Sound Engineer was the special guest of the day.

On the day of the silver jubilee celebration, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty’s original compositions and some of the best raga-based musical performances were encompassed.

An orchestra from Budapest gave a rare and unheard-of performance, playing a song that Pandit Ji himself had written.

The tabla player Pandit Yogesh Samsi performed “Tablar Gaan,” which was truly a one-of-a-kind performance mixing the tabla playing style with suitable musical arrangements.

A very special Tillana performance based on Carnatic music was planned, and Smt. Malabika Sen’s captivating dance performance was included.

Everyone in the audience cheered for the performers and delighted in the all-day entertainment.
