“Embracing Inclusivity: Celebrating 600 Voices, One Heart” a pre-Durga Puja event honoring the achievements of the transgender community to society, was a great success. It was organized by CCI Logistics. 600 members of the transgender community came together for the event, which provided them with a forum to celebrate their identities and emphasize their importance to our society. This year marks the initiative’s 14th anniversary. It is a symbol of CCI Logistics’ unwavering dedication to diversity and acknowledging individuals who are frequently rejected and disregarded.

The program was graced by eminent guests like  Smt. Supti Pandey, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Maniktala, Shri, Shanti Ranjan Kundu, Councillor, Ward no. 32, Renowned social worker Shri Tinkari Dutta and Smt. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson EZ – CSR, CCI among others.

As the transgender community was honored and included in the celebrations, the day’s celebration was characterized by deep feelings, happiness, and a feeling of camaraderie. In an additional show of affection and gratitude, each attendee received a saree, conveying the idea that they are respected and have a legitimate position in our community.

According to Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of EZ-CSR at CCI Logistics Ltd., “The transgender community has always been an integral part of our identity as a society. This event is a little way to give them the love and respect they deserve, in appreciation for their warmth, blessings, and contributions, which are priceless. We want to keep making people happy and making sure they have the sense of community that they so richly deserve”.
