Rotary Rotaract District 3291 in association with Rotary Club of Calcutta Metropolitan organized a show for the recently released film Avijatrik at Priya Cinema in aid of Paediatric Cancer Wellness Centre and Arunima Hospice. This is a home for HIV +ve Children.

The Deputy High Commissioner for Bangladesh H.E Janab Toufique Hasan was present with his Deputy and Cultural Secretary.

From the cast and team of Avijatrik, gracing the occasion was Bickram Ghosh, Subhrajit Mitra, Gaurang Jalan, and Irina Malesysheva.

Rotary Members are always friends in need and serving mankind since 1905. The whole concept was conceived, for charity, by the Producer Rotarian Gaurang Jalan and supported by District Governor Prabir Chatterjee & Club President Dr. Somen Ghosh.

An amount of Rs. 10,000/- was donated for the Rotary Rotaract Paediatric Cancer wellness centre, where an underprivileged child can get the opportunity to use the facility at no cost. Rs. 5000/- was donated to Arunima Hospice where 40 Children are staying.

The show was attended and enjoyed by around 350 Rotarians and family members for a noble cause.
