A special screening of the recently released film ‘Abhijaan,’ was organized recently. Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Paoli Dam, and others graced the event.

It is still considered to be one of Shri Soumitra Chattopadhyay’s final works.

Abhijaan showcases the journey of the thespian, Soumitra Chattopadhyay highlighting important moments of his life from his initial days to his reaching the pinnacle of success.

Apart from Soumitra Chattopadhyay, the movie also stars Jisshu U Sengupta, who portrays the role of the young Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Paoli Dam as Suchitra Sen, Sohini Sarkar as Madhabi Mukhopadhyay, Rudranil Ghosh as Rabi Ghosh, Padmanabha Dasgupta as Anup Kumar, Tuhina Das as Waheeda Rehman, Dulal Lahiri as Chhabi Biswas, Q as Satyajit Ray, Debshankar Halder as Shishir Bhadhuri, Anindita Bose as Aparna Sen, Tridha Choudhury as Sharmila Tagore, Basabdatta Chatterjee as Deepa Chattopadhyay and Sohini Sengupta as Poulomi Bose, amongst others.

The movie is running on single screens and multiplexes in Kolkata.
