The special screening of the short film Bylane- Story of changing the lane in a relationship, directed by Dipanwita Sengupta was organized recently.

The story is about a couple who are in a relationship for a quite long time. But ‘over possessiveness’ & ‘taken for granted’ attitude kills the relationship in the end.

The event was attended by the cast and crew of the movie and also veteran actress Madhabi Mukherjee, Piloo Bhattacharya, Mallar Ghosh, Mallika Ghosh, Indrani Ganguly, Poet Tanmoy Chakraborty, and Bobbie Prasad.

The cast of the short film is Dipanwita Sengupta as Neera, Rajdeep Sarkar as Amit, Kazi Nizamuddin as Amit’s father, Kanchan Das as Navoneel, Bipratip Ghosh as Ratul, Poulomi Dutta as Saju, and Mayukh Saha as Hawker.

The story, script, the direction is done by Dipanwita Sengupta. The cinematography is done by Soumendra & Soujit.

The guests praised the director for her efforts at making the short film and encouraged her to carry on with the work.
