The Bengali film Daanter Lorai features Tollywood star Srabanti Chatterjee as a presenter. Srabanti Chatterjee is presenting a film for the first time. Biplob Koyal has directed the film Daanter Lorai, which is about a poor country girl who enjoys eating a popular candy called “Daanter Lorai”.

Srabanti said, “Daanter Lorai is an incredibly moving film. I wanted to see the film before director Biplob Koyal and his crew approached me to present it. After seeing Daanter Lorai, I thought it was a well-made film with a lot of emotional appeal that would undoubtedly move viewers. I therefore decided to screen the film because I believed that a larger audience was needed for this type of cinema. Additionally, this is my first appearance as a presenter, and I am thrilled to have this new role. In addition to my role as an actor, I am happy to be able to contribute in other ways to the Bengali film industry and its extended family”.

Child artist Akansha Sengupta will be seen as Khuku, while Abhilash Chakrabarty plays her father Danu, and Swastika Das will be seen as Khuku’s mother. Partha Ghatak, Chaitali Jana, and Bablu Banerjee will be playing other pivotal characters in the movie.

The story and script have been written by director Biplab Koyal. Bubay Halder was the cinematographer and editor of the film.

Subir Chatterjee has composed the music for the title song, which has been sung by Debopriyo Das. Arijit Kishore Ray has sung the Raat Pohaile, while Parijat Chakrabarty has lent voice to Ghumer Desher Rani and also has composed the track’s music.

Dipankar Ghosh and Abhilash Chakraborty are the lyricists of the movie.

The movie is releasing on 11th July.
