Bengali film Gumnaami team consisting of director Srijit Mukherji and Prosenjit Chatterjee inaugurated the Wall of Kindness by Max Fashion.

The initiative was inaugurated at Samaj Sebi Durga Puja premises.

The initiative by Max Fashion was started with the aim to brighten up the Durga Puja of the less fortunate kids of the society.

Many customers of Max Fashion donated new clothes at the different stores of the brand. These clothes were then distributed among these less privileged kids.

About 5000 plus kids were brought at the event by eminent NGOs like Hope Foundation, Voice of World and so on.

Speaking at the event, Prosenjit Chatterjee said “When I was a kid, I did not count the number of dresses that I received. Instead I used to see which dress of my cousin was appealing to me and I had the tendency to steal that from the cousin”.

The actor applauded the effort of Max Fashion and said that this will ensure that this is an inclusive puja for everyone and will bring a smile to the faces of many kids.

Srijit Mukherji praised the effort and reminded everyone that Samaj Sebi created the longest alpona previous year and this time they have joined hands with Max fashion for such a wonderful initiative.

Rituparna Sengupta also graced the occasion and distributed the clothes among the kids.
