The next generation of industry professionals will be shaped by the 6-month Certificate Course in Hospitality Management, which St. Xavier’s College and Chowman introduced. The program was officially launched in the presence of Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Mr. Sudesh Poddar, President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Eastern India and Joint Secretary of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India, and Mr. Debaditya Chaudhury, Managing Director of Chowman and Co-owner of Oudh 1590 & Chapter 2.

The course, which will be offered at St. Xavier’s Raghabpur Campus, is intended to give students practical experience by fusing classroom instruction with real-world exposure to the hospitality sector. The partnership between one of the city’s top hospitality brands and one of its most esteemed educational institutions represents a major advancement in closing the skills gap in the industry. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to enroll in this course, which offers them thorough instruction in the operational, customer service, and culinary arts aspects of hospitality management.
