The story of Bengali author Ramapada Chowdhury has been adapted by director Anik Dutta for his next film titled Barunbabur Bondhu.

Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen in a pivotal role. Ritwick Chakraborty will be acting in Anik Dutta’s film for the first time. Arpita Chatterjee and Bidipta Chakraborty will also be seen for the first time in Anik Dutta’s film. However which actor will be playing which role is not decided yet.

The story on which the film is made is not divulged yet.

The shooting of the film will begin in January. The film will be produced by Surinder Films.
