The SPK Jain Futuristic Academy students went to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Camp to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the NDRF’s courageous warriors.

In India, the Disaster Management Act of 2005 created the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), a specialized organization. It was established on January 19, 2006, and is responsible for reacting to both man-made and natural disasters nationwide. It is housed under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Its motto is “आपदा सेवा सदैव सर्वत्र,” which translates to “Disaster service always and everywhere.”

“We bring a smile to their faces and remind them of the warmth of their sisters and families by tying rakhis made with love by our students,” said Dr. Jayeeta Ganguly, Principal of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy.

Sri Jaydeep Patwa, Secretary of the SPK Jain Futuristic Academy said “The NDRF Jawans are real heroes who risk their lives to protect our country. We are honoring their sacrifices and letting them know they are in our prayers and thoughts, particularly on this auspicious occasion, by holding this event”.

The purpose of the gathering was to provide the NDRF warriors, who forgo their luxuries at home to protect India, with a taste of home. The pupils’ handmade Rakhis served as a sign of respect and affection for the heroes. The goal of this event was to successfully provide the comforts of home to the jawans who are away from home for the country.
