Rittika Chanda Parruck, MBE-Director Education, British Council graced the Study UK Day at the UK Pavilion.

She shed light on important topics like-

• The UK is a popular study destination among Indian students. This is mainly because of the amazing study culture in the country. With reputed universities, there is a focus on transnational education.
• Impact of recognition of qualifications between India and the UK. With the help of this recognition, students can now secure jobs in India after completing their studies in the UK.
• Post-study opportunities for students are also available. Many students are opting for business after completion of their degree.
• Scholarships and funding are also available for the students. There are 93 grants available for the students. The students have to understand how to secure the grant for their studies.

Some of the subjects that have been emerging as popular among students are AI, data analytics, humanities, and others.

Management and engineering are among the traditionally popular courses among the students who travel to the UK for higher studies.
