Post marriage, actress Subhasree Ganguly will be starting the shooting of her next film Parineeta. The project will be directed by her husband Raj Chakraborty. This is the first time that the director will be directing a film under his production house.

After the success of Adventures of Jojo, the director wanted to work with original stories. It was by sheer coincidence that he chanced upon a story in Facebook. The original story was by Priyanka Poddar and Arnab Bhaumik developed the basic story.

There are three looks of the actress in the film. The story is based in North Kolkata and is a story about the locality.

Apart from Subhasree, Ritwick Chakraborty, Falaque Rashid and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

The music of the film will be composed by Arkopravo Mukherjee.

The shooting of the film will be done in real locations. However due to the impending elections, getting permission to shoot the film is a real hazard for the team. However the director is determined to start the shooting on time.
