The subho mahurat of Digiplex’s new web series Nisachar took place in the presence of director Subrata Guha Roy, Usashi Roy, Sandip Bhattacharya, and others.

The web series is a psychological thriller. This is the third psychological thriller of the director.

The story of the series is about a girl Raya who lives in a bungalow on a hillside. The turbulences in her life and the murder of her loved ones form the crux of the story. The police officer Angshuman comes to her house for getting to the bottom of those incidents and gets attached to her. What happens next?

Om Sahani will be seen in the role of the police inspector Angshuman Rana.

The director wanted to make the story into a film. However, due to the pandemic, it has been made into a web series. “OTT has given me the platform for making stories on new ideas. Most people know me as an actor. However, it is the digital space that has given me a platform for showcasing my directorial skills” said the director.

Sandip Bhattacharya will be seen in an important role in the series. The actor was looking forward to beginning the shoot of the series.

Arin will be arranging the only song for the series. The song will be used as a backdrop for the series.

The shooting of the web series will be done in North Bengal.

The shooting will begin from the first week of August.

The OTT platform Digiplex will be launched in September. Nisachar will be among the first series that will be aired on this platform.
