Sun Bangla’s serial Agnishikha completed 300 episodes recently. The cast and crew of the serial along with producer Firdausul Hasan graced the event to celebrate this wonderful achievement.

The team cut a cake to mark this amazing feat.

Aratrika Maity who plays Sikha in the serial was excited about completing 200 episodes. “I was not told beforehand today that we will be celebrating this feat. However, this was a great surprise for me. When we began shooting for the serial in Purulia, I did not think that we will get so much love and affection from the audience” said the actress.

The actress who did not have any formal training in acting was ecstatic that her acting was loved by the audience. She also said that she hoped that the serial will do well and run for 500 or more episodes.

There will be more twists and turns happening in the serial soon and the actress asked the audience to keep watching the serial to know more about it.

Firdausul Hasan was happy about the achievement of the serial. He said that he knew that good content will be loved by the audience and this serial has reaffirmed his belief.

Agnishikha will air at 8.30 pm on Sun Bangla.
