Ayush Kumar is a popular actor in the Tollywood industry. He is arrogant and moody. Rumjhum, a girl residing in the village is an ardent fan of the actor. He is like a god to her. She refers to her as Kesto Thakur. Will she be able to meet Ayush Kumar? Will she be able to adjust to the ways of the city?

The upcoming Sun Bangla serial Phaguner Mohona will answer all these questions.

A press conference of the serial was organized that was graced by the cast and crew of the serial.

Annmary Tom as Rumjhum and Siddhartha Sen as Ayush is the lead cast of this serial.

Apart from them, the other actors who will be seen in this serial include Anamika Chakraborty, Chandreyee Ghosh, Kaushik Banerjee, Kalyani Mondal, Tulika Basu, Kanchana Moitra, Sanjib Sarkar, Sagnik Banerjee, and others.

Kalyani Mondal plays Ashalata. “I am scared of my younger daughter, Madhumita. The role is played by Chandreyee Ghosh. She handles the business and also takes care of the family. Ashalata has a good relationship with Ayush, her grandson. He calls her darling” said the actress.

Chandreyee Ghosh plays the role of Madhumita or Ayush’s Bhalo Ma. “There is great stress given to the name Bhalo Ma. If something is good, no one needs to assign a name to it. But audiences might doubt whether she is really a good mother. That time will tell. However, she is behind spoiling Ayush Kumar. She was once an actress herself and she gave it up for the family” said Chandreyee.

Kanchana Moitra will be seen in the role of Rumjhum’s aunt. “After a long time, I will be seen with a non-glam look. The dialogues are fantastic and it will look like they are natural. They will not sound out of place. I am having a great time shooting for this character” said the actress.

Anamika Chakraborty plays a character who is obsessed with Ayush. She is not jealous. She knows that she can deal with Ayush in the best way possible.

Siddhartha Sen while speaking about Ayush said “His original name is Ayush Sen. But he thinks of himself as Akshay Kumar and so he took the name of Ayush Kumar. He is a Cassanova and l grey shades in his character. He is moody and he is spoiled immensely by Bhalo Ma”.

Annmary Tom was last seen in the serial Gramer Rani Binapani. “I play Rumjhum who lives with her uncle and aunt in the village. She is a jolly and positive character. She is very loud and full of life. I am having a great time shooting for the serial” said the actress.

The new serial will begin on 6^th February, 7.30 pm onwards on Sun Bangla daily.
