Sustainability As Focus Of The 8th Edition Of Hulladek Honours


The “Green Architects 2025” exposition, which aims to promote sustainability and environmental awareness, was successfully organized by Hulladek Recycling, the waste management company with the fastest rate of growth in Eastern India. The occasion gave businesses a vibrant stage on which to present creative ways to change consumer behavior and encourage ethical recycling methods.
Mr. Karimul Haque, also known as Bike-Ambulance Dada, a Padma Shri recipient honored for his exceptional service in utilizing his motorcycle ambulance to transport Dhalabari villagers to hospitals, graced the occasion.
Ms. Barbara Voss, the German Consul General in Kolkata, was also present, bringing a global viewpoint to the discussion of sustainability.

The event featured a series of insightful panel discussions on key aspects of sustainability, including India’s Vision 2047: Uniting industry, innovation, and gender equality for global prosperity, ESG & Generative AI – Clash of the brave new worlds, Waste is not an environmental problem, but a business problem, and Why sustainability is Bengal’s biggest business opportunity?
These discussions were graced by Dr. Amrita Ganguly, Executive Director, Deloitte, Ms. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson – Techno India Group, and Ms. Richa Agarwal, Chairperson – Kolkata Centre for Creativity & CEO – Emami Art. These distinguished individuals offered insightful commentary on the changing sustainability scene, highlighting the necessity of teamwork in bringing about significant change.

The exposition also saw the presence of 50brands dedicated to sustainability, including Tata Motors, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Raft EV, Amwoodo, Akvo, Admybin, Uniwater, Blue Horn Solar, Lap It Up, Rent O Cart, Decofur, Grownest, AIESEC India, Goodeebag, Paving Plus, Diamond Beverages, Clan Earth, Yati Exports, Urban Hatt, Urban Elements, Crayon, ESEDS School of Design, Beejum, Rooted, Wandere Nirvana, 145 East, Quirky Bae, Titliya Fashion Studio and The OCAV.
Changemakers who have significantly impacted the world through their efforts were brought together by Hulladek Honours, an initiative devoted to identifying and celebrating exceptional contributions in the field of sustainability. 175 people were recognized at the event for their outstanding contributions to a range of sustainability projects, such as environmental advocacy, waste management, and renewable energy. Their dedication to promoting change and a more environmentally friendly future was praised, highlighting the significance of teamwork in creating a more sustainable world.

With such a wide range of participating brands and stimulating conversations, “Green Architects 2025” reaffirmed Hulladek Recycling’s commitment to advancing sustainability and raising environmental awareness in India.
