Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) made its entry in the 250cc motorcycle segment recently.

The company unveiled its GIXXER SF 250, a sport touring motorcycle for the bike lovers of Kolkata. The launch took place at ITC Sonar in the presence of company officials.

The motorcycle is powered by 249 cc Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four stroke, single cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine which offers great performance. The six speed manual gearbox enables the riders to get a smooth ride even at low or middle range speed. The new SOCS technology makes the engine light weight and fast and also offers easy maneuverability at the highest speed. The wide front and rear tires provide stability while turning through city roads.

The new dual channel Anti-Lock Brake System helps to ensure improved braking.

The motorcycle is built on a light weight frame so as to provide a good balance throughout the ride. The specially developed front suspension provides steadiness to riders while giving brakes and turning around corners on bumpy roads and sharp curves.

GIXXER SF 250 will be available only at Suzuki Premium and is priced at Rs 1, 70, 655 (ex-showroom Kolkata). The motorcycles are available in two colours-Metallic Mat Platinum Silver and Metallic Mat Black.
