SVF in association with INIFD Saltlake organized the special screening of ‘Kuler Achaar’.

Kuler Achaar is an exhilarating rollercoaster that tells a tale of a woman’s desire to retain her maiden surname and the humorous yet sad nuances that surround the idea.

The film is written and directed by Sudeep Das. This is his first collaboration with SVF.

Mainak Bhaumik is the creative director of ‘Kuler Achaar’.

The music of the film is composed by ‘Prosen Er Dol Bol’ and the background music is done by Savvy.

The ensemble cast includes Indrani Halder, Neel Mukherjee, Madhumita Sarcar, and Vikram Chatterjee.

Madhumita will be back on the screen for ‘Kuler Achaar’ after the huge success of ‘Cheeni’ and ‘Tangra Blues’. She will be seen in the role of Mithi.

Vikram Chatterjee will be seen playing the role of Pritam – Mithi’s supportive and liberal husband.

Indrani Haldar and Neel Mukherjee will be seen playing the role of Mithi’s mother-in-law and father-in-law respectively.

Prosenjit Chatterjee, Abir Chatterjee, Soham Majumdar, Oindrila Sen, Sauraseni Maitra, Sampurna Lahiri, and other guests graced the occasion.

The film is running on single screens and multiplexes in Kolkata.
