With its masterful cinematography, SVF never fails to enthrall its audience and uphold its prestigious status in the Bengali film industry.

Three noteworthy films are already scheduled for release in 2024: Soukarya Ghosal’s fantastical fantasy Pokkhirajer Dim, veteran theatre director Arna Mukhopadhyay’s ground-breaking big-screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello, named Athhoi, which marks the director’s big-screen directorial debut with creative director Anirban Bhattacharya, and Abhirup Ghosh’s avant-garde love story, which stars two debutantes in major roles and promises to be a delightful surprise for the audience.

SVF expanded the lineup for the Maha-Mahurat event by revealing four more outstanding films, offering enough of material for viewers to enjoy the opulent silver screen experience.

The list includes-  

Raj Chakrabarty and SVF have delivered many a superhit Bengali film. After 7 years, Raj Chakrabarty returns with SVF with a heartwarming family classic featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, Anashua Majumdar, Sohini Sengupta. 

Srijit Mukherji will direct a social drama with a stellar ensemble cast consisting of Kaushik Ganguly, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Rudranil Ghosh, Sauraseni Maitra, Riddhi Sen, Kanchan Mullick, Satyam Bhattacharya, Ritwick Chakraborty, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Kaushik Sen among others. 

Debaloy Bhattacharya will direct a chilling horror thriller starring Subhashree Ganguly, while Joydeep Mukherjee will bring back Eken, who will venture into Russia to experience Soviet life. 

Excitement is understandable given the stellar roster of talent and gripping stories. Viewers should anticipate an amazing movie experience full of compelling performers and superb storylines.
