After “Pink” and “Badlaa,” Taapsee Pannu appearing in a thriller is an exciting combo in itself. Dobaaraa, a movie by director Anurag Kashyap, will release this Friday.

The team of Dobaaraa namely Taapsee Pannu, Ekta Kapoor, and Pavail Gulati was present in Kolkata for the promotion of the upcoming Bollywood film.

Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa has captivated the public’s attention with its mind-blowing trailer and songs, and even before it is officially released, it is still enchanting people around the country. The movie’s makers screened the movie for audiences in a number of places, including Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi, after it garnered attention at a number of major film festivals, including the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Fantasia International Film Festival, and London Film Festival. In Kolkata, Prosenjit Chatterjee organized a special screening of the movie Dobaaraa.

Dobaaraa, an upcoming mystery drama by Anurag Kashyap, has been the talk of the town and is still continuing to attract attention.

As they discussed their opinions about the movie, Taapsee was seen explaining how she came across the subject and why she agreed to the film.

Pavail, who was set to make his acting debut, talked about how this movie came after “Thappad,” making it his second collaboration with Taapsee.

Additionally, producer Ektaa discussed her decision to pursue this project and the reasons behind her decision.

Dobaaraa is an official remake of the Spanish film Mirage that was released in 2018.

“Through the use of a television connection during a current rainstorm, a woman has the chance to save the life of a 12-year-old child who witnessed a death during a thunderstorm that occurred 25 years before. This is the story of the film” said Taapsee.

The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor & Ektaa R Kapoor’s Cult Movies, a new wing under Balaji Telefilms and Sunir Kheterpal & Gaurav Bose (Athena).

Dobaaraa will release on 19th August 2022.
