Tabo Jayagane 2025 was presented by the Sahay Foundation at Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata. The evening unfolded as a sincere invocation of the Goddess through music, poetry, and performance, conceptualized by Srijan and Mounita Chattopadhyay.

Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay’s “Amar Durga” and a magnificent hundred-voice chorus started the event. This was followed by a lively musical performance by Vidushi Haimanti Shukla, Srabani Sen, Alok Roychowdhury, Pousali Banerjee, and Shovon Ganguly.

The Srijan and Mounita production “Durgotsav,” which depicted Durga Puja as Uma’s perpetual homecoming from her arrival to her farewell immersion, was a big highlight. With stirring performances by Debatrityo, Aritra, Trisha, Manali, Tisha Roy, and the group Gandharbam, the reinvented Mahishasuramardini captured the essence of the renowned broadcast for a new audience.
