“Dui Bon” was first published in 1933 and is one of Tagore’s last three novels. It is about the eternal conflict that arises when a man does not find a mother figure and a sweetheart in the same person. He needs the former and desires the latter. Interestingly Tagore has written this novel as the antithesis of another of his famous novel  Noshtonir.

Arpita Chatterjee is playing the elder sister “Sharmila” while Ritabhari Chakraborty is playing the younger sister “Urmimala”. Indraneil Sengupta is playing the character “Shashanka” while Ditipriya Roy will play the role of “Rokeya”.
