Fashion designer Promit Mukherjee celebrated the 7th year of his ‘Tasamm’ fashion brand with the fashion show Tasamm Fashion Fiesta’20.

Goutam De, Barun Chanda, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, Alokananda Roy, Sayantani Guhathakurta, Indrani Ganguly, Sayantani Ghosh and others graced the event and also walked the ramp for the fashion designer.

Besides the grand fashion show, the new collection of Tasamm brand was also launched at the event. The new collection not only consists of unique winter garments but also various wedding collection and several new kids’ collection.

The highlight of this collection is the ‘shaal’ punjabi, dhoti and sarees which have never been seen before. The fashion genre is mainly Indian and some indo-western and traditional have also been included.

The show was made memorable by the presence of several elite people from different embassy of USA, Japan and China, Chief High Commissioner of Bangladesh and others.

The theme song of “Fashion Fiesta 2” was composed by Pandit Mallar Ghosh. There were seven kinds of music that was composed by Mallar Ghosh. The musician who was well known for playing the tabla will now be seen in a new avatar after the fashion show.

Sayantani Ghosh who walked the ramp in a sari designed by the designer spoke highly about Promit. “With the inclusion of a transgender like me in the fashion show, it shows how Promit thinks of everyone as equal. It is also high time that transgender receive the same treatment as the other genders”.

Many celebrities were also felicitated at the fashion show.
