It was director Nandita Roy’s birthday when the teaser of the upcoming Bengali film Aamar Boss was revealed.

A cake was cut on Nandita Roy’s birthday, and a special video was made for Nandita Roy.

The director expressed her delight and thanked everyone for organizing her birthday.

Gracing the teaser launch event were director-actor Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Srabanti Chatterjee, Aishwarya Sen, Sauraseni Maitra, Shruti Das, Gourab Chatterjee, and others.

Aamar Boss explores the humorous and emotional complexities of a mother-son relationship under the direction of Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. 

Speaking at the teaser launch, Sauraseni Maitra said, “I had never thought that the actress Rakhee Gulzar, who I had seen growing up, would one be my co-actor. This was an amazing opportunity for me and a dream come true, too. After watching the teaser, I am excited, and now I want to see the trailer at the earliest”.

Srabanti Chatterjee’s first film with Windows is Aamar Boss. The actress was happy about this association and hoped that she would be able to work again in another film of this production house. Sharing her work experience with Rakhee Gulzar, she said that it was a huge honor for her to share screen space with a legend.

Shruti Das, who has been making a name for herself with her amazing roles on the small screen, is making her film debut with Aamar Boss. The actress thanked the director duo for thinking of casting her in this film. And the icing on the cake is sharing screen space with the legendary actress Rakhee Gulzar.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee highlighted the importance of May for Windows Production. “All the films released in May have been big hits. And now Aamar Boss is also releasing in May again. We hope the film becomes a bigger hit than our earlier films,” said the director.

The film will be released on the 9^th of May.
