Thailand Feature Country At TTF 2023; Exhibitors Double Than 2022
TTF-2023-Inauguration

TTF 2023 was inaugurated in the august presence of Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Tourism, Information Technology & Electronics, Government of West Bengal, HE Ms. Acharapan Yavaprapas, Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate, Amrit Singh, IAS, Director Tourism, Government of Punjab and other eminent guests.

This year the fair saw the participation of 400 exhibitors from 4 countries and 25 Indian states. This is double the number from the last year.

Thailand is the feature country at TTF 2023.

The guests also unveiled the poster for Monsoon Season West Bengal. While many visitors shun their plans of traveling during the monsoons, the state of Bengal is actually a great place to travel even during the rainy season. The beauty of the state and the various attractions is enhanced during this season.

Also unveiled was the poster of Lepchakha, a little Bhutan in India.

After the pandemic, domestic tourism in India is recovering and it is projected that it will reach 35 trillion by 2029. A study by Anderson shows that outbound tourism will cross 42 billion dollars by 2024.

Thailand, Nepal, and UAE are some of the countries that have participated this time at TTF 2023.

TTF-2023

Goa, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan have joined this fair as Partner States.

The fair will continue till the 16th of July at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan.
