The JIS Group‘s esteemed annual award ceremony, JIS SAMMAN 2025, took place at Nazrul Mancha. Renowned vocalists Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal gave an incredible performance after this magnificent event, which brought together dignitaries, celebrities, professors, and luminaries from a variety of professions to commemorate exceptional accomplishments in academics, culture, and sports.

Dignitaries like Shri. Suprakash Mukhapadhyay, Company Secretary, Group Corporate Secretary and Group Treasury Head of Tata Sons & Chairman, Tata Services Limited, Padma Shri Mamata Shankar, Renowned Indian Actress, Dancer, Prof. Goutam Chattopadhyay, Senior Scientist, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, USA, José Márcio Ramirez Barreto, Former Brazilian Footballer, Shri. Tanmoy Bose, Renowned Indian percussionist, Shri. Gurbux Singh, Former Indian Hockey Player, Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director JIS Group, Prof (Dr.) Abhijit Sengupta, Chairman, JIS Samman 2025, Director GNIPST, Sardar Haranjit Singh Joint Managing Director, JIS Group, Sardar Amrik Singh Deputy Managing Director, JIS Group, Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director, Business Development, JIS Group and Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group graced the occasion.

This year’s event’s high point was the JIS Maha Samman, which was posthumously given to the late Shri. Ratan Tata, a philanthropist and industrialist whose unwavering commitment to social welfare and nation-building revolutionized Indian business and inspired countless people. Shri. Suprakash Mukhapadhyay, Company Secretary, Group Corporate Secretary, and Group Treasury Head of Tata Sons & Chairman, Tata Services Limited, accepted the award on his behalf.

José Márcio Ramirez Barreto, Prof. Goutam Chattopadhyay, Mamata Shankar, Tanmoy Bose, and Gurbux Singh were also given the JIS Maha Samman.
