The press conference for The Deadman’s Bride took place at 28th KIFF in the presence of the director Cornel Gheorghita.

The story of this film revolves around three Frenchmen who settle in a Romanian village for filming a series of reports about the survival of pagan traditions and rites associated with life’s three major events. They are marriage, christening, and funeral. Marriage and christening are easy to shoot while the funeral is a bit difficult to shoot. Since no one was dying, the team decides to stage a funeral by involving the superstitious villagers in their endeavor.

The director is also the producer and the screenplay writer of the film.

The editing has been done by Nathalie Mougemot.

The music has been composed by Sno.

The cast of the film consists of Manue Fleytoux, and Duncan Talhouet.

The film has been selected under the International Competition: Innovation In Moving Images.
