With ‘The Eken,’ SVF is bringing one of Bengal’s favorite detectives, Ekenbabu, to the big screen. The poster features Anirban Chakrabarti, who will reprise his iconic role of Ekendra Sen in the film, alongside two of his favorite co-stars.

Suhotra Mukhopadhyay will make his big-screen debut as Bappaditya, while RJ Somak will play Pramatha. The poster’s background depicts mountains with a toy train, indicating that Ekenbabu’s gruesome investigation will take place in Darjeeling’s hills this time.

‘The Eken,’ a dynamic mystery-thriller directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, will be released in theatres on April 14, 2022, during the Poila Boishakh.
