The Grand Prabhat Samgiit Festival’s Finale To Take Place On 9th December
Prabhat Samgiit Festival (PSF) allied to Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha will be celebrating its 40th anniversary. To commemorate this feat, a live singing competition of Prabhat Samgiit will be organized.
A press conference was organized to announce this event.
Prabhat Samgiit is a collection of 5018 songs written and composed by philosopher, Guru Shrii Shrii Ananda Murti aka Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. The songs are written in eight different languages (Bengali, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, English, Angika, Magadhii, and Maethili) in various melodic styles in 8 years. The themes of the songs are mysticism, spiritual fulfillment, optimism, social awareness, celebration, children’s songs, and many more.
The Grand Prabhat Samgiit Festival (GPSF) is a Prabhat Samgiit singing competition that will involve participants between the ages of 7 to 70 years.
The finale will be organized on 9th December at Science City from 10 am to 8.30 pm.
The judges for the finale in the senior category will be Haimanti Shukla, Srikumar Chatterjee, and Sriradha Bandopadhyay.
For the junior category, the judges will be Indrani Sen, Sanajit Mondal, and Satyajit Jain.
In the junior segment, the first, second, and third prize winners will get Rs 50000, Rs 40000, and Rs 30000 respectively. In the senior segment, the winners will get Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75000, and Rs 50000 respectively.
The participants in this competition along with the winners will get a memento and a certificate.
The event will be transmitted live through the YouTube channel of the organization and also through Facebook Live as well.
