The Heritage College Wins Big At The 7th EduMeet & Excellence Award

Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India organized the 7th EduMeet & Excellence Award ceremony 2023 in Kolkata.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries like Ms. Rowan Ainsworth, Australian Consul General in Kolkata, and Mr. Nick Low, British Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata. Different panel discussions on the New Education Policy which was introduced in 2020 were the focus of the event.

Apart from that, there were also sessions on Early Childhood Education and the onset of foreign universities in India.

The concluding ceremony was addressed by the Hon’ble Minister of the State for Education, Government of India Dr. Rk. Ranjan Singh who also gave the awards of excellence to the Institutions under various categories.

The Heritage College received the award of excellence for being The Most Upcoming General Degree College for the year 2023 which was received by Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Senior Director- Academics, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata from the Minister in the presence of Shri Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions and also the Co-chairman, Higher Education, ASSOCHAM, Eastern Region. 

Other dignitaries who were present were Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Mr.Manoj Joshi, Chairman, Assocham Higher Education Council, East, Mr. Simarpreet Singh, Co-chairman, Assocham Higher Education Council East, Mr. Aloke Tibrewal, Co-chairman, Assocham School Education Council East, Mr. Tamal Mukehrjee, Chairman, National Task Force and others.

Heritage Institute of Technology also bagged for being the Best Engineering College in the category of Institute of Engineering & Technology.
