Shiamak Davar’s Dance Academy in Mumbai held its annual Summer Funk dance festival over the weekend. More than 80 students of various ages took the stage to demonstrate various dance styles.

“Summer Funk is a dance celebration for us at the academy! It’s a proud moment for me because I get to see all of my students perform and express themselves through dance and music on stage” Shiamak Davar elaborated.

Mira Rajput Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, as well as actor Ishaan Khatter, were in attendance, as Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor‘s children performed at Summer Funk this year.

Mira Rajput Kapoor praised the dance master on social media.

Ishaan Khatter, too, took to social media to share videos and photos. Ishaan, a former student at the academy, joined the students on stage to dance to the Zingaat’s beats.

Summer Funk, Summer Funk 2, and Winter Funk are three Funk batches organised by the Shiamak Davar Dance Academy as part of their course to help students improve their performance technique, teamwork, discipline, and professionalism.
