Mr.Kwaku discussed the trade opportunities in Ghana, a country rich in minerals, oils, and gases, as well as a leader in the mining of gold, diamonds, bauxite, manganese, and lithium.
However, there are no manganese refineries in Ghana at the moment.
For Indian mining companies, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

Ghana’s iron and steel industries are also quite large.
There are currently 818 Indian projects in Ghana, including KEC for railways, ESCORTS for agricultural machinery, AFCONS for engineering and construction, and B5 for iron and steel.
Indian investments in Ghana are estimated to be worth $500 million, with a 10% year-on-year increase.
Mr.Kwaku also discussed the country’s tourism opportunities, which include serene beaches and growing wildlife. The hotel industry is booming as well, with a tourism university being established and hotel chains such as Kempinski and IHCL expressing interest in developing properties there.
