In the august presence of Iman Chakraborty, Sujit Bose, MIC-Fire and Emergency Services, Lakshmi Kanta Kar, Director, GLS, Rajarshi Dutta, MD, Keo Karpin, Ajit Jose, Hotel Manager, iBIS Rajarhat Kolkata, Mrs. Urmila Sen, President, New Town Sarbojanin, Samaresh Das, Secretary, New Town Sarbojanin, the first theme song “Pujor Gaan” of GLS New Town Sarbojanin Durgotsab Samiti was released.

The theme song has been sung by Iman Chakraborty.

The song has been written by Nilim Gangopadhyay and the music has been composed by Ashu Chakraborty.

The theme song encapsulates the festive feel and is full of Bangaliana.

Speaking at the event, Iman said “I am glad to be associated with this Puja and also sing their theme song. Unfortunately, I will not be in Kolkata or else I would have come to visit this pandal. I hope that in the coming time I can come and see their puja. It was very interesting to see the committee members lending their voices to the song”.

The celebration of the 75^th Independence Day will also be held at Puja Prangan (City Square) along with a medical camp and distribution of mosquito nets in the locality.
