Asha Audio released the second part of ‘Matri Bandana’, stotram and narration podcast in the presence of Jayati Chakraborty, Pratyush Banerjee, Apeksha Lahiri, and Souvik Guha Sarkar.

The narration and vocal is by Jayati Chakraborty, and the music has been composed by Prattyush Banerjee.

The podcast script is designed by Souvik Guha Sarkar and the creative consultant is Indrani Chakraborti.

The first part was released on 2^nd October 2023.

“This Puja, Asha Audio presents a fresh and interesting podcast to the audience. The first project, Matri Bandana, is dedicated to Maa Durga and all the women who battle for survival on a daily basis throughout the world. We have high hopes for our new podcast project and its inaugural presentation, Matri Bandana. Compared to Asha Audio’s earlier works from the past 24 years, this is an entirely different genre. After releasing the first part, we had a tremendous response. We believe that the public will accept the second one in the same manner” said Apeksha Lahiri from Asha Audio.

Jayati Chakraborty said that she had no idea of a podcast prior to working on this project. However, she found the concept interesting, and hence she agreed to do this project.

“The main challenge was that I am used to singing more than narrating. So I had to differentiate between the two voices. The singing voice is different from the narration voice. I had to understand that and deal with it accordingly” said the singer.

After the grand success of ‘Matri Bandana’ Part One, the second part will be released on Mahalaya.
