Aakash Aath announced the launch of three new shows – mega serial, Adalat O Ekti Mei, the musical reality show Akashe Superstar & Teen Bhubaner Paare, the new story in the Sahityer Sera Somoy series.

The first tribal woman to become an advocate, Durga Soren, is the subject of the new mega serial Adalat O Ekti Meye. The narrative of Durga’s struggle for the justice of society’s outcasts is intended to be presented, despite the obstacles posed by the way different societal structures operate. Munna Bhai, a rising local don, and a group of orphan youngsters are her two foundations on this journey. The narrative will demonstrate how everyone can always speak out against injustice. Sajal Bose is the director of “Adalat o Ekti Mei.”

The role of the protagonist Durga is being played by Konkona Halder, along with her the cast also includes Sagnik, Krishna Kishore, and Abhijit Guha. 

Konkona Halder said that Durga suffers many injustices but never falters from her chosen path. Like the reel character, Konkona also is from rural Bengal and had to strive hard to fulfill her dreams.

Abhijit Guha will be seen in the role of a judge in the mega-serial. The actor said that the judge is more humane than the other judges often shown in films and serials.

Teen Bhuboner Pare in Sahityer Sera Samay is being directed by Suman Ray. The series features Prantik Banerjee as Montu and Deepsheta Mitra as Swarashi in the lead.

Despite Montu’s best efforts, Swarashi rejects him because she doesn’t enjoy his erratic lifestyle. Montu is a person who prefers living simply and has hardly completed his education. Being a learned individual, Swarashi attempts to improve his life.

Prantik Banerjee said “Most of us have sung the song Ke Tumi Nandini and tried to dance to its tune at least once in our life. And getting to play that role, though for a mega serial is a great feeling indeed. The serial is adapted from the original story and not from the film. We have tried our best to show the story in the authentic way possible”.

“I did not get the role so easily as I had to audition quite a few times before I was finalized. I am under a lot of pressure as this novel is a popular one and the film was also so popular. I am trying my best to portray the role of Swarashi. Hope the audience will like it” said Deepsheta Mitra.

The other cast members include Pradeep Maulik, Chandak Mukherjee, Purba Banerjee, Jayetari Banerjee, Madhumita Banerjee, Tirtha Mullick, and Tanishtha Biswas.

Aakashe Superstar, a new music reality show, is another project that Aakash Aath is developing. There will be eighteen contestants each week. One person will be chosen each day to be the Superstar of the Day. Additionally, the six Superstars will engage in a musical mega-battle on Sunday.

Aakashe Superstar has been directed by Sangeet Tiwari. The esteemed panel of judges will include Siddhartha Sankar Ray (Sidhu), Aninda, Debojyoti Mishra &Sutapa Bhattacharya, and others. The show will be compered by Sujoyneel.

Speaking about the show, Debojyoti Mishra said “This is different from the other reality shows from where I have been invited. This channel does everything from the heart and that will also be evident in this show. New talents will be getting a platform to perform and that is amazing”.

Teen Bhuboner Pare” will be aired at 7.30 pm from Monday – Saturday, followed by Adalat O Ekti Mei at 8.00 pm. “Aakash E Superstar” will be aired from Monday to Sunday, from 2 pm to 3 pm.
