The trailer of Addatimes’s new web series Nandini was released in the presence of Ritabhari Chakraborty, Kinjal Nanda, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Debjani Chatterjee, Sandip Bhattacharya and director Falak Mir.

An inspiring tale is promised in the trailer. The story will feature unexpected turns, drama, and emotion that will captivate the audience.

We get a glimpse of Snigdha’s environment in the trailer before she becomes pregnant. As the family descendant is ready to arrive, joy brims from every nook and cranny of the mansion. But when Snigdha’s doctor tells her that the child in her womb is likely to die very soon and as a result, she needs to terminate the child, Snigdha’s entire world is turned upside down. A child’s voice may be heard on the other end of Snighda’s phone sometime after midnight, when everyone is asleep, calling out, “Mother! I am still alive; I am not dead. The main conflict in the story is what happens next.

The series is based on Sayantani Putatundu’s novel of the same name ‘Nandini’.

Nandini is every woman’s narrative, according to Ritabhari, who will be making her web debut with the show. “The series is packed with excitement and fun. Being a mother is a very difficult role to fulfil, but neither is being one.  Every mother can probably identify with Nandini because they all go through similar struggles for both themselves and their children” said the actress.

“Nandini’s script was fantastic. There are two different hues of my character. Working with Falak da and the rest of the team was a total joy for me. The audience’s tastes were taken into consideration when creating Nandini” said actor Kinjal Nanda.

Suhotra Mukhopadhyay expressed enthusiasm about his role and said, “I play the role of a writer. I enjoy telling stories as well as listening to them. I once had a fantasy of playing a character in which I serve as the narrator. I attained that with this series”.

“Bengalis are lifelong fans of thrillers. This is a rather unique tale. Every episode will provoke diverse ideas in the spectator concerning the mystery’s perpetrator” said director Falak Mir.
