GiMA Award winning rock percussionist Guru Pt. Prodyut Mukherjee & Kalayani Roy Memorial Trust presented a gala musical “Divine  Melodies”, supported by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR KOLKATA).

Padma Bhusan Pt Vishwamohan Bhatt, his son Pt Salil Bhatt, ace vocalist Panchakobir Gaan fame Riddhi Bandyopadhyay and Pt Prodyut Mukherjee with his fusion band Rhythm Express performed at the evening.

The musical revolved around some timeless melodies including songs of  Atulprasad Sen like Ami Jabona Ghore, Bolo Bolo Bolo Sobe while Pt Vishwamohan Bhatt and Pt Salil Bhatt performed some of their own creations including the Grammy award winning A Meeting by The River, Bollywood classic like Dekha Hai Ek Khwaab from Silsila, legendary song Vandemataram besides Indian ragas.

The entire soundscape for the concert was conceived by Pt Prodyut Mukherjee.
